Dr. Thomas Reaper

Dr. Reaper is the Medical Director and Reviewer for InterMed. He joined InterMed in 2010 and previously served as Physician Reviewer for the company from 2006 – 2010.

His past professional medical affiliations include service as the District Office Medical Consultant, State Compensation Insurance Fund, Oxnard Office, Medical Director of Goleta Valley Occupational Health Center, Medical Director of Doctors’ Urgent Care and Family Practice, and Contract Physician, County of Santa Barbara.

Dr. Reaper has also served as Chair of Continuing Medical Education Committee, California Medical Association (CMA) and since 1992 has served as an Accreditation Surveyor, Continuing Medical Education Programs, CMA.

His internship and rotating internship (OB/GYN) took place at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California. Dr. Reaper’s residency training in Occupational Medicine occurred at the University of California, San Francisco and he was awarded a fellowship by the American Academy of Family Practice.

He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine. Dr. Reaper is a member of the following professional societies: Medical Society, County of Santa Barbara, and the California Medical Association.

Dr. Reaper holds an A.B. degree (Cum Laude) in Biology from Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire, graduated from Dartmouth Medical School and received his MPH degree in Health Education from California State University, Northridge, California.
