As part of our services, InterMed will create a proprietary Specialized Vendor Matrix.

Network
Clients can access superior diagnostic imaging and electro-diagnostic services using our network at or below the State fee schedule. Network members undergo an extensive quality control procedure to ensure the right tests are performed and corresponding evaluation equipment is used to obtain the best diagnostic evaluation and interpretation.
Durable Medical
Equipment
We provide top-quality, low-cost equipment and managed care services from over 4,500 vendors nationwide, with over 230,000 DME products. InterMed has worked diligently to ensure our clients receive savings at or below the Usual and Customary rates for a particular jurisdiction or the applicable State Fee Schedule. Our network takes the stress of ordering and coordinating medical equipment off of our Adjusters and Nurse Case Managers, letting them concentrate on larger claim details.

Pharmacy Benefit
Management
InterMed’s Telephonic Case Management Nurses work with prescribing physicians to negotiate lower-cost medications and address drug testing and drug alternatives. As a result, our clients typically spend less on medications, and their injured workers use fewer compounded medications and opiates in combination with other drugs.
Interpreters
On Call
Our network of ATA-certified language specialists provides translation solutions in over 130 languages and dialects. Many of our translators are ATA certified. Translation and interpretation services are commonly used for doctor visits, interviews/discussions with claims personnel and other professionals, and for support with legal and business documents and forms. We support patient translation needs with insurance carriers, law firms, medical facilities and rehab centers.
